Hello Muggles.
It saddens me to write this post today. I do not buy Loreal products often, but I am going to be very skeptical of them now.
I really wish that I liked this product. The applicator is the best! It downright amazing, but the liner itself really is just plain not good.
I was drawn to it because of the applicator and the fact that it says superstar.
((Fun fact: I currently have 17 stars tattooed on me, there will be more...so I love stars))
I was just so let down by this product. I really kind of want to throw it away but can't see doing it since I spent $9 on it and it's brand new.
Seriously, If this was a good product, I'd never buy anything else because of this applicator.
I put on this eye first and by the time that I was finished with the second eye, it was already coming off. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt though. Not all eye liners are good with water lines. As you read me say before about the MaryKay The Real Teal liner.
You can't really tell to well in this picture, but the eye liner didn't stay well on the shadow at all! I tried again to give it the benefit of the doubt because it was a cream based shadow and that can sometimes mess up liner.
*Sigh*
I really do like to give products the benefit of the doubt, so i tried it again today. I cleaned off all the makeup from my eyes before work. I made sure that there was nothing left from yesterday so I could get the best feel for the product. I was just going to put liner on today.
Take #2
This is after about 4 swipes of the liner. You can see in the circle where the black is almost translucent.. which if you are using black, you want it to be opaque.
Also, compared to my other black liner that I had to use on my water lines because this product wouldn't work... it almost looks brown!!
Here you can really see how translucent and brownish it really is. This is also the seconds time that I had to apply it because I chipped some of it when I was separating my eyelashes. CHIPPED IT! I shouldn't be chipping eyeliner.
Just because I don't like it, doesn't mean that you have to agree... here is the product info in case.
